Following the capture of the Feral Worgen outside of Freyharbor, the Coalition called upon their resident priest of Elune, Doctor Cassandra Payne. While the Doctor traveled, Mister Mordecai Heartwood took special care of the Worgen, staying with it as the evening turned to night and to dawn once again. Though the feral didn't seem especially appreciative of Mister Heartwood, his contributions were of great assistance.
In the evening of the following day, Doctor Payne arrived in Freyharbor and made for the outpost, taking little time to arrive and take control of the situation. As the Doctor took measure of the Worgen's condition, the rest of the Coalition scattered, searching for reagents and tools to assist in the proceeding ritual.
Ms. Kitrasina returned to Freyharbor, searching the town's mage tower for any available reagents. After a curt search she was able to discover several vials of purified spring water, though likely rendered impure due to the passage of time.
Meanwhile, Mister Heske Stormbreaker and Mister Cohmnall Dempsey searched the northern outpost, where the Worgen remained captured. Within the outpost the pair found a number of dried and preserved herbs, perfect for a makeshift sedative to keep the Feral under control.
Working in tandem with Ms. Kitrasina, Mr. Stormbreaker and Mr. Dempsey combined their reagents together and sedated the Worgen, leading it outside for the Ritual of Balance to commence. Doctor Payne wasted little time administering the moonwell water and starting the first act of the ritual.
Immediately the ritual was unusual, a low frost biting at the air as the Moonwell water dripped into the Worgen's throat. Harsh memories struck out at the Coalition's mind as Mr. Heartwood was pulled into the Worgen's psyche.
Memories and visions of a young boy with his mother in the wilderness, hunted and pursued by wild wolves. The child's perspective was most commonly seen by the Coalition, but not universally. As the vision came to a head, the Wolf caught the mother and tore at her throat viciously while the child watched with horrific fascination.
As the first memory closed a brief period of respite was curtly interrupted by the initiation of the second phase of the ritual. Without pause Doctor Payne poured moonwell water down the Worgen's throat once more. Memories and visions sparked as the spectral form of a Worg took shape, clawing and attacking the members of the Coalition. It's spectral form resilient to physical attacks as Cohmnall rushed directly through it. The Worg continued forward as the spectral form of the mother from the prior vision appeared.
An oppressive aura of rage and pain exuded from the Worg as it made it upon the woman. The Coalition's eyes lit with visions of death as they saw through the woman's eyes as the worg bit her ankle and pulled her to the ground, clawing and slashing and biting at her throat.
